For demonstration and user practice, a small (tiny) dataset has been included in the software distribution, which contains four micrographs that are actually from two tilt pairs:
Image (MRC) | Dimension (Pixels) | Tilt Geometry (Nominal) |
T1001 | 1000 x 1000 | 0-degree tilt Paired with T1002 |
T1002 | 1000 x 1000 | 45-degree tilt Paired with T1001 |
T1003 | 1000 x 1000 | 0-degree tilt Paired with T1004 |
T1004 | 1000 x 1000 | 45-degree tilt Paired with T1003 |
In the user manual, some chapters contain a "Demonstration" section at the end, which uses the test dataset to illustrate the application of respective functions.  A user can follow the step-by-step instruction to practice both single-particle and tilt-pair data analysis in PARTICLE.
