Single-Particle Data Analysis

In single-particle model reconstruction, individual particle images (magnified 2D projections of the molecule of interest) are selected from micrographs and sorted into homogeneous classes, which are then subjected to angular reconstitution and model reconstruction.  Once an initial model has been derived, more particles can be added into iterative refinements to improve the resolution of the 3D model.
