Examples of DP display: tilt-pair images, particle stack, density map and PDB model.
|
DP::MainDisplay
The MainDisplay window covers the most area of DP and is dedicated to data visualization
and graphics rendering (images, stacks, density maps, and PDBs).
The window can be resized at user's discretion.
DP::DataInfo
The DataInfo area displays the current project name, image name and particle count (whenever
applicable).
It is located at the upper-left corner of the DP panel, above the MainDisplay window.
DP::ToolBar
The ToolBar area (above the MainDisplay window) is shared by a set of toolboxes that will
be selectively switched on when the respective modules become active:
- Image Toolbox : containing buttons for image masking, particle
annotation and in-set display (as shown in the above example).
It also provides drawing tools for manual micrograph masking.
The toolbox will appear when CP::Micrograph or CP::Particle become active.
- Stack Toolbox : containing buttons for particle stack browsing
(forward, backward, to the beginning and to the end) and frame labeling.
To display the stack starting from a particular frame, define the frame ID in the value box.
To the right of the toolbox, there is a
counter for particle selection and a button C to clear the current selection.
This toolbox will appear when CP::Editor::PTK or CP::3D Model become active.
- Map Toolbox : containing buttons for density map rendering.
The toolbox will appear when CP::Editor::MAP becomes active.
- PDB Toolbox : containing buttons for PDB structure editing and rendering.
This toolbox will appear when CP::Editor::PDB becomes active.
DP::MessageBoard
The one-line MessageBoard (at the bottom of DP) displays brief operational information during data processing.
DP::SystemStatus>
The SystemStatus indicator (located at the upper right corner of DP) turns green when the
program is ready for instruction, and becomes red when it is busy.
There is a synchronized indicator in the CP panel displaying the same system status.
