Need "Help"?

To facilitate the use of PARTICLE, the program provides "Help" information in a variety of formats:

• A key-word "tip" for a functional object (value-box, button, etc.) in the GUI will pop-up when the mouse cursor is placed over the object.  For a frequently used functional object that has been assigned a "short-cut", the keyboard combination will be described in the tip as well.

• Live Help: when the button CP::? (located at the upper-right corner of the CP panel) is activated, a brief functional description introduced by "- Help -" will appear in CP::MessageBoard.

• The online user manual provides the most comprehensive documentation.  In addition, a user may search an online FAQ for commonly encountered questions.  In case of a specific issue, the user can submit the question via e-mail (particle@image-analysis.net) and receive a direct response from our technical support.
