Access: CP::MenuBar::System::Setup
This module provides functions for system environment management and maintenance. All environment parameters in PARTICLE have a default assignment, some of which can be customized at run-time.
In data batch processing, graphics rendering becomes unnecessary and the visualization functions can be turned off (which can also increase the throughput of the data analysis). The graphics functions for image, stack and map display can be independently activated/deactivated by the respective check-boxes in the group. By default, all these graphics rendering functions are turned on at the start of the program.
When a system update becomes available for PARTICLE, the user will be informed at the start of the program. Once notified, the user should request assistance from the computer administrator to install the upgrade (it requires writing permission to restricted directories).
